Our Mission

Electronic waste is a huge concern worldwide, growing at an alarming rate three times faster than the population. Annually, millions of electronic waste devices are discarded illegally, contributing to environmental and health concerns. Without proper management, e-waste poses significant risks to both ecosystems and human health. Unfortunately, a substantial amount of e-waste, estimated at 20 billion pounds annually, ends up in landfills or incinerators, where it releases harmful toxins into the environment. Electronic waste contains various hazardous chemicals, including metals like lead, cadmium, and mercury, as well as organic compounds like flame retardants and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). Improper disposal leads to the contamination of water bodies, soil, and air, affecting both terrestrial and aquatic life. Moreover, e-waste disposal in landfills significantly contributes to greenhouse gas emissions, with landfills accounting for about 14% of global methane emissions directly linked with climate change. To address this issue, there is a need for responsible e-waste recycling practices. Terra E-Waste's mission is to protect the planet by removing harmful electronic waste and promoting sustainable recycling practices. By properly disposing of e-waste, we can protect the environment, conserve resources, reduce pollution, and foster innovation for a sustainable future. Together, let's power up for a greener tomorrow—one electronic device at a time! Please don't hesitate to give us a call.
